Quick Question

edit

{{helpme}} Please forgive this succinct question, but Am I able to delete my account?

Nope. All edits from your account must be attributed to you in perpetuity, under the licensing Wikipedia uses. Your account can be renamed, if you like - see WP:CHU. Or you can simply stop editing, if that is your wish. If it's a question of deleting your userpages, I can help with that - but the actual account, nope. Sorry. Yes, I wouldn't mind if you delete all my user pages, including the archived user talk page. No need for warning, just go ahead thanks. --Tedd-the-Tiger (talk) 10:39, 17 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
OK, I will place speedy deletion templates on all of your user pages, etc. I don't know if user talk pages can be deleted for historical reasons, but I believe the archive can be deleted as the history is still on this page. You may also want to check out this page - it can help you with your retirement from Wikipedia. Arctic Night 14:45, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Usertalkpages and their archives are not eligible for deletion for historical reasons. Good luck on your retirement. We also have a password scrambler, and a Wikibreak enforcer, if you wish. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 15:09, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Because the contents of the archived page remain in the history of this page, it's no problem to delete that one, and I have. This one should remain, though it can be blanked if required. Tony Fox (arf!) 08:38, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
