Speedy tagging

Hi. Thanks for tagging Toe Tags by William Bryan Layton just now, but as it was a book A7 doesn't apply. Non-notable books may have to go to PROD or AfD, but frequently (as in this case) what has been put in is a copy of the publisher's blurb and a Google search finds the source so that db-copyvio can be used. Sock puppet

Since u helped with an edit war on the Pieces of a Man article a while back with possibly the same editor, I'm asking if these four accounts, 81.153.44.164, 86.186.243.135, 86.169.134.107, and 81.159.254.162, making the exact same unconstructive edit to Gil Scott-Heron album articles constitutes sock puppetry? 86.169.134.107 has recently made the exact same edit to the lot of those articles and I want to avoid any edit conflicts with such users. Bernanos

Thanks for adding the Bernanos book to the 'see also' section of the Homage to Catalonia article. The article on the Bernanos book was just a couple of short paragraphs, but the mentioning of it on the 'Homage' page made me resolve to read the book (I'd started the article with just a mention of the book I found in 'Orwell in Spain'). It is a strange book and I don't follow all the allusions to contemporary events Bernanos makes, but I'm glad I read it, and I added a bit more detail to the page on the book that makes it more informative I hope. Overszealous Editing

Hello, got your messages accusing me of being a vandal, re the HJK and FC Lahti pages. I merely updated the squads as per the transfer news on the Veikkausliiga website. I see someone else has complained about this - can I suggest that if I was committing vandalism it would have been far more obvious then this and you perhaps need to sue more common sense before accusing people of vandalism.

Promotional Flags

Thank you for doing your due diligence on administering pages and edits in the appropriate manner. Although I do not understand why/how all of my edits/ posts continue to be flagged as "promotion/advertising". Although I do recognize that some of my earlier posts may not have held up to Wikipedia guidelines as I was still learning the etiquette, I feel I have toned down the intent and feel the content I am attempting to present is indeed educational scientific material and is more informative than promotional and feel it deserves to have a presence in Wikipedia same as any other would. I respect what Wikipedia stands for and feel it is a great resource to many categories and topics, yet I feel confused on how I continue to see pages and edits throughout Wikipedia that use the same methods that I am attempting to accomplish. I am trying to stay consistent with other pages/ edits I have seen throughout Wikipedia and use the same foundation they use, but find it confusing when I see countless pages/posts/edits that are using the same methods that I am attempting to add all over Wikipedia pages. Can you please help me to understand the rationale behind why some pages/edits are allowed and some others are not even though they are the same type. Excessive reverting

You seem to be overusing the undo/revert buttons for questionable edits or edits that don't justify a revert. In one case, you removed someone's comment from a Talk page because it was "unsourced and unsigned", neither of which is a valid reason to censor a Talk page. Please review the relevant guidelines - WP:ROLL and WP:BRD before you continue. You have been a rollbacker for almost three years - you should know these things better. Thank you. While WP:BLP applies to Talk pages as well, a mere mention of the existence of sources relating to clashes between two living persons is not a BLP violation, and certainly isn't cause to remove such a comment from a Talk page. If you wish to dispute such a statement, you are welcome to add your comment on that Talk page. Removing the comment does, I believe, fall under "censorship".

I also disagree with your assertion that this was an isolated case. Reverts such as this or this should be limited to dealing with disruptive edits, not to a mere difference of opinion on content or style. Comment moved from my user page (IBM)

Possible mistake was your edit summary. Does that apply to my edit or your revert? (we have to have some fun while doing this). Wikipedia does not want long lists of books so I sorted out the many IBM books, removing for example, all those in the "History of IBM" page that were also in the IBM page. Pointers to the other page were placed in both pages -- of which you've deleted at least one (I've not checked the other). Seems there is something about this that you don't approve of. I'm not sure what that is or what you think should be done. Duplicating all the books in both places is, as I understand Wikipedia, not acceptable.
