Proposed deletion of File:Electrocoin Logo.png edit

The file File:Electrocoin Logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Decorative use of the non-free logo of a company in a stand-alone article about one of the companies products. Despite the rationale's claim, the logo is not being used as the primary means of identification in Bar-X and it is not itself the subject of any sourced critical commentary within the article. The context required by WP:NFCC#8 and the file can be removed without being detrimental the reader's understanding in any way. A request for undeletion can be made if and when Draft:Electrocoin is approved and upgraded to article status, but the file cannot be used in the draft namespace per WP:NFCC#9 and WP:DRAFTS#Preparing drafts. If the uploader is the creator of the logo and does hold the copyright on the logo, then it might be able to be converted to a free license compatible with Wikipedia. If not, then the logo needs to comply with Wikipedia's non-free content use policy and in this particular case it does not.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:29, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Electrocoin edit

Hello, Technical Dream. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Electrocoin".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 19:27, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
