Hi Team FFI, the text on your user page indicates that this account is being used by several different people. Is this correct? If so, you should be aware that the use of a single account by multiple people is against Wikipedia policy. Each one of you should register under a separate account. --Akhilleus (talk) 18:43, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello Akhilleus. Wikipedia is edited only by one of us, as we learned first-hand a long time ago about the intolerance by most websites regarding shared accounts. You will be able to verify the single user editing via two IP addresses assigned to me personally; one at my home, and the other at my office. Each IP address comes from 2 different ISPs in my area, therefore you will notice that both are in the same city, indicating a single user. Team FFI operates mainly in email with each other. The password for this account is not known by any other Team FFI members. - Team FFI (talk) 19:39, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm going to chime in and say that our WP:UN policy specifically discusses group accounts and user names that are also the names of company/groups. Your user page is clearly is there to promote the group, not you as an individual. Would you be willing to change your user name so that it does not give the appearance it is a group account? I'm going to post a default message below this with some helpful links for your consideration:

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: it is the name of a group. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. -Andrew c [talk] 21:15, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rather than debate the issue, pointlessly I might add, I have requested a change of name. - Team FFI (talk) 22:26, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for addressing this; I hope you continue to contribute. I hope your associates decide to register their own accounts, too. --Akhilleus (talk) 05:34, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
