September 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Literacy, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Hohum (talk) 19:43, 15 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

New literacies edit

If you cite a single source more than once, you can give it a name, e.g. <ref name=example>Reference here</ref>[1] which you can then use each time you cite the source (<ref name=example/>[1]) so it doesn't appear twice in the reference list.
