Speedy deletion nomination of Www.reverbnation.com/coreysteele

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Www.reverbnation.com/coreysteele requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Way2veers 19:49, 2 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sandbox

edit

Hi, you can use the sandbox for whatever you like, so long as you don't insult or libel anyone, or put copyright stuff there. You don't need to submit it for approval, unless you've written an article you want putting in the encyclopaedia. Rankersbo (talk) 08:12, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your music on Wikipedia

edit

Dear Tcoolguitarman: I read your submission to Afc, which will have to be declined because it's not article. You ask if you can use Wikipedia to publish your music. Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not a web hosting service, and the editors here are only supposed to engage in activities related to the encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles are summaries of already published material, not promotion of new unpublished material.

There are plenty of good places on the web that would be suitable for your project. I have made a web site for my material, but that can be tricky and there are easier ways. You could create a blog, or a facebook page, or you could post material on Youtube.

If any of your music has become notable enough to have been written about in news reports, music reviews, magazine articles, etc., then by all means gather this evidence and write and article about it. You would have to be careful not to write in a promotional way, which is difficult to do when writing about your own work.

I hope that you will continue to be a Wikipedia editor, and use your knowledge of music topics to make improvements to the articles. Good luck! —Anne Delong (talk) 15:21, 11 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please don't Submit non-articles; you can practise in the Sandbox all you want, but only submit if it's an article

edit

Your submission did not appear to be an actual article you wanted reviewed, so I've moved it to User:Tcoolguitarman/Sandbox1 for safekeeping for you. Only hit "Submit" if the contents of the page are an actual ready draft of an article on an encyclopedic topic. Please see WP:Your first article if that is what you would like to do. Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Inner riding

edit

Hello Tcoolguitarman. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Inner riding".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Inner riding}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 08:04, 8 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
