Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon edit
Hi, I saw that you tried to move your work live by moving the sandbox live - since there is already an article on the film, you would have to move your work into the page. However that said, there are some issues with the work that would need to be addressed before the work is moved live.
- The source should be placed at the end of the statements it's backing up, to help verify the claims. Since I can't access the site (my virus program doesn't let me open it) I will say to be very careful with sourcing. Make sure that it's a place that is routinely seen as a reliable source by other reliable sources. From what I can see, Mtime is seen as an e-commerce site but does have movie news and reviews. This means that it may be seen as a reliable source as long as the site has good editorial oversight and is seen as a reliable source, but it may not be the strongest possible source. It's important to make sure that it's not just mirroring a wiki or using user submitted information - or may have incorrect information or rumors.
- Since this film has been out for a while, there may be coverage in academic and scholarly sources that could be used instead. Those tend to have the strongest editorial oversight and verification processes.
- This needs some editing for grammar, which I can help with.
- The changes section may be something to include in the production section rather than in its own section.
- There's no need for a long list of when the film was released and in which country - this is seen as indiscriminate information as far as Wikipedia is concerned - in general it would be best to cover where it was initially released and the major theatrical releases - the ones that gained a lot of coverage in reliable sources. However even then, it would be best to lump release dates in some areas by the general time of year. So for example, we would have releases listed like this:
- The film had its world premiere on May 18, 2000 at Cannes and had a theatrical release in Taiwan, Mainland China, and Hong Kong during July 2000.
- The thing to keep in mind is that Wikipedia gives a general overview - specifics like the release dates in each country aren't really things that would be included here.
- Avoid relying solely on quotes, especially if they can be re-written in your own words. For this, the quotes would need to be in your own words or need some sort of context to help justify the addition of the quotes, to show where they're major enough to include in the article.
