Hi Tibor,

I am looking forward to start testing your software for the maps. You make take your time in creating it, because i have a busy month. I must finish my final paper this year.--Daanschr 09:50, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

How is the programming at the moment?--Daanschr 08:21, 20 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

unfortunately no special news till now
generaly: i have a bit busy time too
i see no reaction from ashibaka (he had to be out of office till this week?)
next case is discussion from village pump already disapeared - result is do not use pictures exported from google earth in wikipedia and no general support for database or programming in wikipedia
i'm going to have a look to kml import into nasa www and will see if my actual plan (see next) could be usable
plan: drawing of kml files into google earth (why not? i believe you can draw wiki-imagest into commertional photohoshop too - isn't true?), save them into system outside wiki, export kml-s from there, read them to nasa www and save as line-only images (= without copyrighted satellite pictures)
see you (i'm checking mails more oftern than this page)

I will send an email and respond to your talk page, because my emails became part of your spam earlier on.

Here is a link of the program that i used to make my maps. It is with pixels alas. I found this link on the Wikipedia article map, which contains other links as well. (I don't know why i didn't thought of this earlier.

Ashibaka probably didn't want to join after all. This is normal on the internet. I have witnessed it earlier on with boardgames that i played. This is the main reason why most projects on Wikipedia were not succesful. Shall we make an agreement that if one of us wants to stop, that he will tell it to the other? You are pretty busy, so i won't mind if you don't have time. I will be very busy next year when i get my first full time job (hopefully).--Daanschr 13:30, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

i will a have a look at this program too, the best we will discuss it public way in project
surely in such case i will notify you
think no special hurry to catch any project-finished date, more interesting is do not create double work, it means the best create any next project-related map in later reusable form

I agree with you

I found this wiki, perhaps some of them want to join us.--Daanschr 13:45, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

also one day we can contact that map program guys, at least to discuss

Historical Atlas Project edit

I think I'm interested in helping out this kind of Project, but I don't know what needs to be done. Daanschr says you're the lead programmer, and as an artistically-challenged/mathematically-enhanced type of person, I should apply as your assistant. I suppose I should start adding random ideas to the project page (or project talk page?) and see what sticks.... Xaxafrad 01:21, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

hi, glad to see you in project - see you there, tblazko@pobox.sk
