Topic Suggestions

edit

Hey group 14!

My first topic suggest is Jill Morawski. She is a social psychologist with a main focus on gender issues. She's known in the pyschology world as the feminist. I'm really excited about this topic and believe Jill Morawski would be fun to learn about! Here is a link that gives a little back ground info on her.

My second topic choice would be E. Mavis Hetherington. She is a developmental psychologist. When searching her on google she seems to have a prominent theory on the effects of children who deal with their parents divorce. Below I left another link that talks a little bit about E. Mavis Hetherington.

I think we should have a woman as our topic since it is the year of women and science for wikipedia. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any other suggestions. Kkrance (talk) 02:33, 16 September 2016 (UTC)Kayla KranceReply

I think it is a great idea to do our project on a woman! Both of these women sound like great options, but my vote would be to do Mavis Hetherington as our first option and Jill Morawski as our second. I am good either way but I find developmental psychology more interesting. We also had some discussion in person so not all of it is included on this talk page.

Your topic: E. Mavis Heatherington

Hello Group 14: I think either of your choices is fine. I'll take Heatherington as your first choice. It's great that you are choosing to contribute to the represention of women scientists on Wikipedia! J.R. Council (talk) 05:17, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • BTW, Taylor - I don't see any contributions from you to the discussion, even though it is your page. I think that the last line in the discussion may be from you. Also, it is mentioned that your all discussed topics in person. Be sure to sign your contributions with ~~~~. J.R. Council (talk) 05:19, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
