Managing a conflict of interest

Shared account policy

Per your disclosure at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tarun Anand (2nd nomination), it appears that you are using a shared account. This is against Wikipedia policy, which forbids shared accounts. You need one account per person. It also sounds like you are a (group of) paid editor(s), and you must disclose that, and may not directly edit the involved article. You are describing people that are employed partly to update Wikipedia. That is exactly paid editing. You need to disclose it. You can see the details at WP:PAID: briefly, you should have a box on your user page, and the "Connected contributor (paid)" template on the talk page of all affected articles. How can we update this Wikipedia account? I am only updating on Wikipedia page. How can I get edit access and edit to universal business school. Your are restricting every step. How can I edit this guide me? Who can edit this? Tarunanand30 (talk) 10:32, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

You need to do a few things. The first is that Wikipedia has a one person, one account model. You need to pick one person to edit from the account, and to be responsible for the edits. (You may want to request a change of name -- some of this is explained under WP:username policy.) You'll then need to stay inside of the paid editor policy: briefly, you need to clearly declare that editing these wikipedia articles is part of your job. I can help you do that, if you'd like. You also should not edit the articles directly, but instead request edits on the talk page. (You can use the "edit request" template to do this -- try searching "Template:Edit request".) Keep in mind that basically every sentence, or at _least_ every paragraph should backed by a citation that verifies the fact. Full details of the paid editing policy can be found at WP:PAID.

I do understand that Wikipedia has a lot of rules, and it can be confusing at first. It's worth paying attention to them: if you do not, you're likely to have limited impact. A good place for beginners to ask for broader help is at the teahouse. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 18:10, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
