File source problem with File:Tun Ahmad Zaidi.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Tun Ahmad Zaidi.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:09, 7 May 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 06:09, 7 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Tun Ahmad Zaidi.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Tun Ahmad Zaidi.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:49, 7 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hang Tuah (film) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Hang Tuah (film), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.sendokgarpu.com/event/hang-tuah/894.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Darjah Utama Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Sarawak edit

The above article you created is unreferenced. I am going to copyedit it. May I know where you got all the info from? Bejinhan talks 05:57, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Benjihan, the references for the article are based on the link i've posted on the article, but the link is in Malay. Here's the link: http://www.upak.sarawak.gov.my/index.php?do=pingat (Tamizi ts 06:07, 2 January 2011 (UTC))

That only covers the table in the article. What about the lede paragraphs (the award's history, mottos, etc.)? Do you have references for them? Bejinhan talks 06:18, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

As i know, the motto for the order was based on the state motto (as the photo on the order shown on that link). So there are no references on it(Tamizi ts 06:24, 2 January 2011 (UTC))

The award's history? Bejinhan talks 06:27, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

The award history could be traced back to 1928,but became obsolete in 1946 when Sarawak was annexed by Britain in 1946.In 1964,year after the Sarawak Independence within the formation of Malaysia in 1963,the order was revived. But the revived order has no connection with the previous order. Here the link about the order (Brooke era): http://www.royalark.net/Malaysia/sarawak6.htm

But to be exact, the references are very limited. So,i would have to ask someone else through the internet to gain more info.(Tamizi ts 06:38, 2 January 2011 (UTC))

Ah okay. I'll try to see what I can do... but as you'll know, anything unverifiable must be deleted... so, if you can, please try to get the list of sources and I'll ref the article. Bejinhan talks 10:39, 3 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Alright;I'll try my best.Thanks again for notifying me.(Tamizi ts 12:30, 3 January 2011 (UTC))

January 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Wikipedia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Bejinhan talks 02:44, 18 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Maintenance template edit

Please do not remove the maintenance templates. The whole lede section is currently unreferenced and i placed inserted an unreferenced section template above. The template is to draw attention to the article so that those interested in copyediting unreferenced articles can work on it. Furthermore, please do not insert in links to the award photos. If you want a pic of it to be there, there is help available at the graphics department and they might be able to help come out with pictures of the awards using graphics. Proposed deletion of Weststar Aviation edit

The article Weststar Aviation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable aviation arm of a Malaysian company that it self is not notable enough to have an article. Fails WP:GNG. Also not to be confused with various other companies called West Star or Weststar aviation. (at least one each in Canada and the US).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ravendrop 00:19, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Citations edit

Hi, thanks for your excellent work on the Sarawak state election, 2011. However, I would like to point out 1 thing: it would be better if you used the {{citation}} template when making inline citations to external references. When I started editing Wikipedia, I didn't really care about following the format too. But then I realized the reference list looked really unsystematic and so I decided to learn. It's really very simple... For news articles, I usually just add the headline, url, publisher, author (if applicable), date and access date. All you need to do is add this template

{{cite news |title= |url= |publisher= |author= |date= |accessdate= }}

and plug in the info:

{{cite news |title=PKR plans to petition for by-election in Senadin
 |url=http://www.theborneopost.com/?p=122876
 |publisher=[[The Borneo Post]] |author=Chin Kee Leong |date=2011-04-18
 |accessdate=2011-04-21}}

and it'll punch out the information in a systematic format for you:

  • Chin Kee Leong (2011-04-18). "PKR plans to petition for by-election in Senadin". The Borneo Post. Retrieved 2011-04-21.

Additionally, you can look up Wikipedia:Citation templates and Template:Citation#Citing journals, newspapers, magazines, or other periodicals. Cheers! - Yk (talk) 07:09, 22 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Boldface edit

Sorry, I don't mean to keep bothering you but I noticed that some recent edits you made were inconsistent with Wikipedia's manual of style. Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (text formatting)#Boldface, using boldface formatting is only permitted in the first line of the lead paragraphs, table headers and definition lists. You should refrain from bolding words in the prose. If you wish to place emphasis on a phrase, use quotation marks or italicize as appropriate. - Yk3 talk · contrib 01:48, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of The King's Dream edit

Hello Tamizi ts,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The King's Dream for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, WingtipvorteX PTT 03:22, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
