Hello, TURTLOS, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially your edits to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

I was the one that reverted your move of Iran and Russia into the Global Coalition box. Its not a bias issue - there are many reliable sources saying these two countries are not acting in concert with the US-led group. All the countries in the boxes are sources as part of the Counter-ISIL Coalition. I encourage you to continue contributing on this or any other topic. Thank you for bringing this to my attention but I reverted my mistakes shortly afterwards after reading the article more carefully. I only read the template title and not all of the information above that and I thought that the two nations were excluded from the boxes due to negative portrayals by the media and their disputes with the US and the EU, I didn't realize that the boxes were for the nations in the US led coalition only.

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:45, 18 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Chris troutman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, United Russia, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Edit Warring, 3RR

edit

Hi TURTLOS, this is just to let you know that your next reversion after this one will be a bright line violation of the 3RR rule. There's no need to get blocked from editing over this. Let's discuss your edit at the talk page, and if we can come to an agreement, then I or another editor will incorporate it. TBSchemer (talk) 10:36, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

KKE

edit

Hello TURTLOS. In Greek Wikipedia it is used the word "Αριστερά"(Left) not "Ακροαριστερά"(Far Left or Extreme Left) for the political position of KKE. https://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%9A%CE%BF%CE%BC%CE%BC%CE%BF%CF%85%CE%BD%CE%B9%CF%83%CF%84%CE%B9%CE%BA%CF%8C_%CE%9A%CF%8C%CE%BC%CE%BC%CE%B1_%CE%95%CE%BB%CE%BB%CE%AC%CE%B4%CE%B1%CF%82. Thank you. Georgopa (talk) 11:50, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey, another language version of Wikipedia is not an accurate citation, Greek speakers have a different idea of what constitutes far-left than English speakers. TURTLOS (talk) 12:16, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Edit war at Independent Greeks

edit

Hello Turtlos,

Your recent editing history at Independent Greeks shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. --RJFF (talk) 10:56, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of ruling political parties by country, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New Democratic Front. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Translation

edit

Thank you for creating articles on Greek parties, but please do not use automatic translators to do the job, because the result is erroneous and incomprehensible. If you do not possess the competence to translate from Greek yourself, it is better to leave it be or simply create a stub like "Party Y is a Greek left/right-wing party founded on Z". It might be a good idea if you change "Support merger" to "Comment" in this edit, as you have previously expressed your support for the merger. 2.27.78.13 (talk) 22:31, 11 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Iryna Harpy. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Opposition Bloc seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Iryna Harpy (talk) 10:20, 17 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Just to let you know that I've reverted your removal of the signature bot's signing on your behalf on the talk page. Please use the tilda's as described above. If you simply sign your user name, it doesn't leave the time and date of the comment which is important for other editors to know, as well as allowing for the archiving bot to archive discussions properly from the talk page.

I'll also get back to you on the issue of the "pro Russian" sources as soon a I'm able.
