Apology edit

My apology. Eyes must have crossed. I reverted my revert to Escape from Tomorrow! Thanks for the note. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 09:24, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Re: Apology edit

Thanks very much for reverting it! Though User:Owlfarm88 continues to undo it, at first claiming the review to be a 'troll', and now saying it's illegitimate despite Mr. Goldmark (Some Jerk with a Camera) being notable in a number of ways (son of Kathi Kamen Goldmark, comedian with several songs on the Dr. Demento show, and a creator of the aforementioned series--which, like Escape from Tomorrow, is filmed entirely using commercial cameras in Disney parks, making him uniquely qualified to review the film beyond it's gimmick). - TMobias (talk) 10:44, 5 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Goldmark edit

Goldmark is not an esteemed journalist or a film critic. He doesn't have the notoriety or the social cache of the other established critics. His self-aggrandizing "review" comes three years after the fact and (with less YouTube subscribers than most teenage girls) is thus irrelevant. Owlfarm88 (talk) 14:08, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Holy shit, can I really edit this? Wow. Okay, I'm Tony Goldmark and I'm very curious what you have against teenage girls. I'm sure some of those teenage girls have thoughtful opinions more deserving of attention than mine. That's why I don't constantly beg for subscriptions at the end of my videos like so many YouTubers do - I don't want to take views away from deserving teenage girls, because as we all know, "number of YouTube subscribers" is the one and only barometer of human worth. And I'm also sorry it took me three years (two after the film's release, when I could actually SEE it) to finish my review, largely because my videos require more effort than just typing. In fairness, the section IS called "Reception," not "IMMEDIATE Reception," but what do I know? Maybe you should edit the Citizen Kane page - there's a whole "Re-evaluation" section full of posers who weren't even BORN yet in 1941! In conclusion, Mr. Owlfarm88, I'm very sorry I lack the notoriety and social cache of a Wikipedia editor. Truth be told, I don't even know the first thing about farming owls. --Tony Goldmark 5:26 PM - 6 Jan 2016
