Orphaned fair use image (Image:Chartseason3.JPG) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Chartseason3.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:31, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am so excited edit

I am thrilled to see that you are also a fan of the L Word. PLEASE help me with the project Si, Somos Lesbianas as I am writing the fans of Lesbian/Gay lit to get this thing moving Keep in touch.Cr8tiv June 8 2007 6:00

I am sorry to dissappoint you, but I'm a fan of the L word, not of LGBT Lit. First because it has a couple of my favorite actresses (Pam Grier, Jennifer Beals, Mia Kirshner). -- TLW 22:20, 11 June 2007 (UTC).Reply

No problem! By the way I like Mia Kirshner too! Thanks for your time and maybe we can add our names to the chart! Cr8tiv

WP:CVU status edit

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Fair use rationale for Image:Laradanasc.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Laradanasc.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 22:26, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Alicepiesezcki.jpg) edit

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Characters carmen.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading Image:Characters carmen.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Cirt (talk) 13:16, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

TLW chart :D edit

I'm really sorry for asking xD but, when did Shane slept with Jenny, and when did Cindi slept with Helena?... If kissing counts, Joyce is connected to Tina, I think. That's when it's gonna be REALLY impossible to connect xD. Meteoritu, January 29th, 2009. —Preceding undated comment was added at 18:05, 29 January 2009 (UTC).Reply

  • I actually did watch it, I was biting my nails when they hugged and then kissed xD. But yeah, it would be scary... Anyways, yeah it counts, it's Shenny ^^ . Meteoritu, January 29th, 2009. —Preceding undated comment was added at 18:05, 29 January 2009 (UTC).Reply

TLW chart edit

did you draw the chart by hand or with which software?

thx Henna (talk) 09:19, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

It used to be in Visio. Gave up on that version and the new chart is pretty much "hand drawn" into Power Point. --TLW (talk) 21:37, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Shegan I thought there was general consensus from Ilene as well as Mia Kirshner that Jenny Schecter was a lesbian not bisexual. When I tried to change her category to 'Fictional lesbians' it became an edit war. —Preceding undated comment added 02:17, 12 November 2010 (UTC).

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
