License tagging for Image:Wc4screenshot.gif edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Wc4screenshot.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:12, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Your edit to Breast edit

The image on that page has been there for a long time, and is the result of significant consensus-building. If you'd like to propose a different picture for that page, I suggest discussing it on Talk:Breast -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 06:24, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I like your picture just fine. But you need to go to Talk:Breast and propose a change to the lead picture. If you just drop one in there without discussion, someone is going to revert it. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 06:30, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bad image edit

You have not reached consensuse and you are messing up the page with an invalid image.

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Breast, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ArmadilloFromHell 06:36, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 06:37, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Posting on talk pages edit

Please read Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages and remember to sign you name when you post on my talk page. And do me the favour of not leaving little insults hidden in comments. --ArmadilloFromHell 07:52, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please sign your messages on talk pages edit

As a courtesy for other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your talk page and user talk page posts. To do so simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info see the talk page guidelines. Images edit

As i pointed out in the edit summary, the image of "Kane" cannot be used on the Joseph Kucan page, as it is fair-use, meaning it can only be used to illustrate either C&C or the "Kane" article. yandman 10:16, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Images edit

You need to start using correct image tags. The images you uploaded for the F-22, X-47, Polecat, etc., were press release images, and you certainly did not create them. You have to start doing this properly. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 14:50, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image:Sexy-jessica-alba-bed7.jpg edit

An image you uploaded, Image:Sexy-jessica-alba-bed7.jpg, has been deleted. The license you used was blatantly and deliberately false, and furthermore the image is not a press-release photo. As you have previously been warned about your violations of Wikipedia image copyright and fair-use policies, you have now been blocked for 24 hours. You are welcome to resume editing once the block expires but you must refrain from uploading any more images until you have fixed the ones you have already uploaded. --Yamla 16:23, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Codename 47 edit

Yor changes have all been reverted due to the use of patently mislabelled images, unlicensed images and misrepresentation of the true sources of the images.

I can understand there is a technical issue with the copywright policy, but reverting pages i put hours of effort into, trying to make them more knowledgable for anyone who saw them, you are the vandal my friend. im sorry if you dont think so, but its quite the travisty.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Logo44.gif) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo44.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Wingcommanderlogo.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Wingcommanderlogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aksibot 18:24, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Turntable333.jpg edit

The file File:Turntable333.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused (see WP:NOTWEBHOST), unclear purpose

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
