Speedy deletion nomination of Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom

edit

Hello T866,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

M41 (Durban) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, M41 (Durban), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Undiscussed moves

edit

If a page has had a move discussion in past 5 years, and you want it moved, you should start a new move discussion. It is not OK to move it unilaterally as you did at Witbank.-- Toddy1 (talk) 14:53, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Metropolitan Routes

edit

Hi there.

I'm sure you've noticed what has happened to your M1 road (Durban), M25 road (Durban) & M41 (Durban) articles in recent hours, right?

Well, I had a similar situation recently, where I tried to make sure that each & every one of the Metropolitan Routes in Pretoria has its own article on Wikipedia.

If you want those "Metropolitan Routes" to each have an article on Wikipedia, I suggest you find "citations" for the "Introduction" part of the article, like I did at M6 road (Pretoria).

That one citation you placed in the "Route" section of those articles was alright, although there was a Google Maps Debate at WP:ANI recently, where it was somehow decided that "Google Maps" (& anything from the same facility, such as Google Earth or Google Street View) is not a "good-enough citation" to use on road articles. So, it has been declared a "weak citation" & we may need to find a second source on top of that one.

So, in summary, I suggest that the "Introduction" should have some citations (just like I did at M6 road (Pretoria)). The route section is alright with only that Google Maps citation, although it is recommended that a second citation should be added there.

Just giving a little advice to a fellow "South African Road Article" contributor. Chils Kemptonian (talk) 15:59, 25 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of M41 (Durban)

edit

The article M41 (Durban) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No effective references. Single google maps doesn't verify the subject per WP:V. Fails WP:SIGCOV.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. scope_creepTalk 23:56, 28 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
