Welcome! edit

Hello, T.Wentworth1593, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Dear Jarrah Tree,

All this is far too technical for me. I have looked at the various 'good links'. I do not see how T.Wentworth1593 (talk) 04:10, 10 March 2020 (UTC) is a signature and I have no idea what a time stamp might be. Why can't I just send an email. What exactly is wrong with what I wrote? Everything I wrote was a fact, not an opinion. My name is Terry Stanton. My book is called "No Mayday! No Mayday!" It does explore the Diego Garcia hijack theory. None of the other authors of books on the subject know where the plane is; they speculate, just as I have done. Can you alter what I wrote to make it comply with your five pillars? Or did you delete it all? I put much the same thing on the MH370 site and the Conspiracy Theories page about MH370. Please send me an email explaining exactly what this is all about. Earlier in the latter article there is an entry about Nigel Cawthorne's book "MH370 The Mystery" saying it got into trouble for saying the plane may have been shot down? Why was my edit different from that?Reply

very simple edit

you need to understand wikipedia requires WP:RS - find a reference for your assertions - or links. no need for an email - there is no evidence from trove that your book exists yet, but the web has book launch details - if you can provide some proof that the book exists (more than just a book launch item from the next) it can be linked to your assertions. simply, no big deal. Dear Jarrah, I am really fed up with this. What the hell is [[WP:RS]? I am the author. The book is for sale on Amazon, Booktopia etc. It has an entry or so on Goodreads. It is in some Libraries here in New South Wales. Copies have been sold in England by Amazon where it has 5 stars. It has an ISBN. From whom am I supposed to find a reference? A reference to what, exactly? You are obviously very good at computers and the internet and the needs of Wikipedia. I am not. I was an English lawyer. How much do you know about Town and Country Planning Law or the Diving Regulations in England? If I were telling you about English Law I should not insult you by saying "Very simple", as you do to me. That is so arrogant. I might say I'll try to explain it to you in simple terms, but it is far from simple. You haven't even answered my questions. Yet in your original response you said you hoped I should remain with Wikipedia. I have sent your organization money in the past because I value the resource, but I have no desire to be treated like an idiot just because you cannot write intelligible English. What, for example, is an IP address? Irresponsible Parent? Many of these initials mean different things to different people. Whatever it means, I do not care if it shows up. Privacy is for people with something to hide.

And what did you mean by "a book launch item from the next"? Or did you mean "the net"? Yours sincerely, Terry Stanton (T.Wentworth1593). 2001:8003:3494:DB00:2CFC:7456:E2AF:EAB5 (talk) 10:57, 10 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

It is hard to know where to start or finish this conversation, I am not the first and last person to have a conversation with about your edits. I will leave to someone else to deal with the issues, as it is hard to know to do with your comments, best of luck. JarrahTree 11:10, 10 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
