Leon Trotsky edit

If you look at the history page for any article, you can see all of the edits made to it, with the date and time, and the name of the editor. In this case, you can find that the sentence you note was originally added at 23.52 UST on 1 November 2008, by User:MaGioZal. The WikiBlame] tool can help you do this.

So the article was presumably lifted before this date. Wikipedia is copyrighted, and licensed to the public under a GNU License. Content should not be published for profit without attribution. I've looked at Google Books, and find that this company has published for sale scores of such direct copies of WP articles; see my report at Mirrors and Forks. Thanks for noticing this.

On another matter, when you make comments on talk pages (not in articles themselves), you should sign them by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end. This automatically inserts your ID, and the time and date of your comment, making it easier for others to respond to you. RolandR (talk) 19:44, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
