Darth Jackson

Would you like me to put a copy of the deleted article in your userspace? Maybe on your user page or as a subpage? I'll put it here for you:

Darth Jackson, (real name Philip) is 37 year old Michael Jackson and Darth Vader impersonator from Birmingham, England. He was a contestant on the popular ITV talent show, Britain's Got Talent. Darth is best known for his moonwalking impersonation and toy lightsaber. When not performing, he works for the Royal Mail, sorting packets and parcels for delivery. He has been a dancer for 30 years and has never taken a dancing lesson. He started singing in 2000 and has ever since impersonated the pop singer.

During his audition, his performance to the tracks 'Imperial March' and 'Billie Jean' were not well received by the studio audience and Simon Cowell. In addition, the act was hounded with technical issues. However, the other judges warmed to him and he was selected to go through to the next round. He is a long term Michael Jackson fan and stated, "I'm an extremely big fan of Michael Jackson. I have loved him since 1987 and I have been to two of his concerts- The Dangerous tour in 1992 and the History tour in 1997."

He made it to the semifinal stage with a dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller. Darth Jackson wowed an unsuspecting public in Semi-Final 1, revealing himself to be a middle aged man with a receeding hairline. Britain's Got Talent Judge, Simon Cowell commented that he "shouldn't have done that" because the unmasking damaged his public image, resulting in him losing the public vote and being unable to progress to the live final.
