Speedy deletion nomination of The Stockyards Shopping Centre

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Stockyards Shopping Centre, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. - MrX 18:35, 24 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm TBrandley. Your recent edit to the page Zellers appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Obviously biased content as well. Hi ST1M,

I just wanted to let you know that removing the "articles for deletion" tag doesn't stop the AfD process - it only stops people interested in the article from knowing about it. So removing the tag increases the likelihood that the article will be deleted. Also, if an article does not have references to Wikipedia:Reliable Sources, then it should be tagged as such. You can remove the tag after adding references, not before. Adding references will increase the article's chances of not being deleted. Regards, Ground Zero | t 02:39, 27 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Stop it

I have provided a reference for the floor space being 550,000 sq ft. If you are not going to provide a reference to a reliable source for your claim that it will be 600,000 sq ft., you cannot change it. This is an encyclopedia. What we add must be verifiable.   Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Target Canada, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 04:46, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Elizabeth II, you may be blocked from editing. —C.Fred (talk) 23:09, 3 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you upload a media file with false or missing copyright or source information, as you did at File:The_stockyards_logo.png, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Logo for shopping centre is obviously not covered under the GNU Free Documentation Licence. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 02:49, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Zellers, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Farine (talk) 13:00, 10 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

It is just factual errors at this point. TBrandley (review) 16:13, 10 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Lawrence Square Shopping Centre, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Shootmaster 44 (talk) 02:54, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  ViridaeDON'T PANIC 04:47, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello ST1M, I was wondering how long it would be before you were blocked fom editing. I don't like seeing new editors blocked, but in your case, it seemed to be the only way of getting your attention. Wikipedia, like any community, has adopted rules to improve the quality and crdibilty of the encyclopedia, and to make it easier for editors to get along with each other. Several of us have tried to help you out by providing information on these rules, but you have chosen to ignore the advice that people have taken the time to provide to you. The result is that your diting is disruptive to Wiipedia, and the project is better off without you. When your block ends, I strongly encourage you to follow the advice you ave been given, and in particular provide references to reliable sources for your edts. Otherwise, you will find that your edits will be reverted without warning, and you will be blocked again for a longer time, possibly indefinitely. We would rather have you contributing constructively, but will take the steps we need to take if you don't. Ground Zero | t 11:02, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Hon-3s-T. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Zellers because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! --Hon-3s-T (talk) 21:16, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

That is twice now in the last couple of days that you have removed large chunks of an article. While we want to believe that this is an accident, if it happens a third time, we will have to conclude that it is intentional vandalism, and block you from editing for a long time. Please be very careful with your edits and don't make this mistake again. Thank you. Ground Zero | t 21:59, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Speedy deletion nomination of Talize

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Talize requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". OlYeller21Talktome 05:37, 31 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Dixie Plaza

edit

The article Dixie Plaza has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Found no relevant sources in a WP:BEFORE

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
