January 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Navi Mumbai, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Navi Mumbai was changed by Swaminworld (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2010-01-16T22:42:37+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 22:42, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Aravalli Biodiversity Park edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Aravalli Biodiversity Park, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.dda.org.in/greens/biodiv/aravalli-biodiversity-park.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. skylark edit

thnks for your message.I have tried to point out several inconsistenicies and tried to improve the article but apparently wikipedia has given god-like powers to some"editor"stuff who remove every editing. The editor in quetion calls himself spaceman spiff and seems to be lacking any background in history at all but nonetheless enjoys limitless power of bossing here. The editor staff by wiki is a good initiative but they should make sure at least specialists get to be in those positions.if necessary at least they can arrange to have view and counterview perspectives displayed at the same time.04:51, 18 March 2010 (UTC)skylark2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skylark2007 (talkcontribs)

i understand your concern abut how wiki has become a property of few editors who try to remove what they don't like. This is true in general but then there are others who are rational and they support facts over opinions. I prefer to consult with Abecedare (talk) who is more rational and show high degree of unbiased judgment as compared to spaceman spiff who is nothing but a real arrogant person. In past many editors left wiki because this spaceman spiff bullied them. He gets support from many editors who are from his home town/state. Many editors of [www.sulekha.com/ Sulekha.com] are involved here and you can find them distorting articles and facts. They find wiki as a tool or mouthpiece to spread their opinion. well you can find help from many rational people like Abecedare (talk). Hope this helps. --Swaminworld (talk) 13:21, 18 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Standard of living in India edit

Hi Swaminworld, I see that you put three refimprove templates on the Standard of living in India in early 2010 for: missing citations, disputed facts, and use of primary / affiliated sources.

Since then, there has been additional work on the article. Do you mind sharing some insight into what is now needed to make the article acceptable? (If it's not a lot of work, I may chip in.) Thanks!--CaroleHenson (talk) 20:30, 12 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
