  Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in User:Swaggaofficial/sandbox, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically, bold face is reserved almost exclusively for the name(s) of the article topic in the lead section. 𝟙𝟤𝟯𝟺𝐪𝑤𝒆𝓇𝟷𝟮𝟥𝟜𝓺𝔴𝕖𝖗𝟰 (𝗍𝗮𝘭𝙠) 13:41, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Swaggaofficial. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page User:Swaggaofficial/sandbox, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 04:43, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to User:Swaggaofficial/sandbox, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Swaggaofficial, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Swaggaofficial|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Fiddle Faddle 07:26, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

can you please give an example of what you mean? all of the other turkish rappers does not have any chart records? do you mean I need to provide a news about the artist from newspaper or news channel? give me an example so I can understand better I am new to this.

What you Need

edit

Hello Swaggaofficial,

I am going to give you some tips.

1. First, and most important is to sign all your messages, here and wherever else you use it. You sign things by putting this ~~~~

2. They are asking you for special sources - secondary sources. This means you have to find some websites where they comment on Akaya's work. You find some websites where they say his songs are different, they say his rap is good, this is a new direction, a new wave, like this. Where they say Akaya is starting something new. Don't put his songs, don't put lists of his music, find other sites where other people say things about him.

So, you try here

And you try here

And you try this one too

and then if that does not help you, you try "Alpaslan Kaya" + turkish rapper + Akaya in all the different search engines.

Be sure to link to information, critique, assessment, commentary about Akaya, not his stuff directly.

One other thing. These need to be of some substance, not just one sentence that mentions his name. It has to be something that goes on and talks about what he has done for a few sentences. For example, it has to be a significant mention.

Cheers, Hope this helps you. Whiteguru (talk) 06:58, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Statement Needed

edit

Hi,

you need to post a statement on this page that you have no connection to Akaya, and you have not been paid for this article. This is an important step. If you are connected, and have been paid, then you need to write about this here. (This is called Conflict of Interest and is an important policy. It does not mean your article will fail on account of this. The policy requires that you disclose any connection. ) Thank you. --Whiteguru (talk) 05:33, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Can you please help! Someone post it this for my article. This article is being considered for deletion in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. I checked the reasons they put; I do not see any legitimate reasons. They are just guessing. Please let me know what to do since you are the person who approve this article. Thanks in advance. Bobby lee swagger (talk) 22:04, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Bobby lee swagger: Please provide a link to the page. I will take a look and see if I can provide an explanation, help you understand. --Whiteguru (talk) 22:09, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hey, thanks for replying quickly. they are saying links are probably not independent well how do they know? if they are saying probably it means they are not sure. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akaya Bobby lee swagger (talk) 22:36, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Bobby lee swagger: The article has been nominated by another editor for deletion. Which is allowed. At this link, other editors will give an evaluation. It will be done in terms of this policy WP:NMUSIC, which you should study and understand. You have to meet the principles outlined there. So you are having to wait and see what the other editors say. In the meantime, if you find more independent reviews of this musician, you may add them to the article. --Whiteguru (talk) 23:35, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
