You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 21:02, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Attacked by 85.72.224.69

Did the comment 85.72.224.69 put on his or her edit summary on the article ILPAP attack you because I put an attack warning on his or her talk page. Wayne Olajuwon chat 01:00, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

I get attacked frequently by a blocked user (User:Pplatis) and possibly by two of his pals on el.wiki. They are worried that Piraeus is not listed prominently in some articles. Just ignore them. SV1XV (talk) 18:08, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Attiko metro

Athens has 3 metro lines ISAP :1 and AMEL 2&3 ISAP is not something diffirent such as Proastiakos, it's just another company, but operates metro line 1.

The article Attiko Metro, is about the metro system and not the company (Attiko metro SA). So, when we talk about Athens metro or attiko metro we mean all the 3 lines. Don't change the articles if you don't know. Do you live in athens? All articles in greek and all other languages show 3 lines. So this will be in the English version too —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skgxt (talkcontribs) 17:21, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Moving article

I have not moved any article (Attiko Metro or Athens metro) or redirected any of them. I just made changes to Attiko metro article.

By the way are you greek? As I can see you have never writen in the greek article of Athens metro or in any other language than English. You also don't understand what I say: I insist on having one article about Athens Metro (Metro> metropolitain in french means the metropolitan railway, which is railway that covers the metropolitan area of the city. Proastiakos is for suburban) So, no matter if there are two or more companies for the operation, ISAP line and AMETRO lines are all part of the Athens Metro. That is why the title should be Athens Metro and not Attiko Metro. It reffers to the metro system and not to the company. You can see that in the article of Barcelona metro (where there are two companies of operation but ONE page for the metro system).

You have to be very sure of what you say, when you insist, especially when everyone, every wiki article and all maps, show the Athens metro system with 3 lines. AMEL has lines 2 and 3, meaning that there is line 1 also part of the same system.

Well, in order to stop changing the article all the time, I propose to have a general discussion about this so more people, other than the two of us, make suggestions.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skgxt (talkcontribs) 19:44, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Edit war

Yes, I didn't want to, I've tried to be patient, to talk with him etc, that's why I'm one step away from asking help from an administrator now. But what's his problem? Does he have any kind of obsession with the whole issue? Thank you for informing me and please help when it's necessary! Greetings! - Sthenel (talk) 21:20, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

—Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.107.4.49 (talk) 13:05, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I've noticed all these. Let's do something for it! Btw, his behaviour is totally unacceptable. - Sthenel (talk) 19:38, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

I've already talked about it by myself. We'll see.. It's very good that you can be patient. I lose the control in similar cases frequently, but it's ok I don't break the rules, I'm experienced enough here to handle it. He hasn't break the 3RR so far, but he could be accused of sock puppetry as well, although it doesn't really help since he changes the IP addresses. - Sthenel (talk) 21:00, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

You bloody asshole you can not win me. Goto Hell. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.140.87.179 (talkcontribs)

Yes, that's the help I asked. Btw, what's this above? Totally insane. - Sthenel (talk) 11:17, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

I have to inform you that Pplatis listed us in the ANI here for disruptive editing, after I had listed him (here). Of course after the massive protections of the articles he edited, I reported that he broke the 3RR and he was blocked, he changed IP address and now he expands his activity to other articles, until the semi-protection ends. - Sthenel (talk) 20:42, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

I was absent too yesterday, the entry was archived like my own. Where did you see that they were removed as insulting? - Sthenel (talk) 11:08, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

But I read your comments. The thread was just archived. - Sthenel (talk) 12:40, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Greek naval ships

Hi, I noticed your name at articles on Greek naval ships. I've been working to improve the article on the USS Mississippi class battleship. These 2 ships were sold to Greece after a few years in U.S. service, and the information is scant after that point. I see frequent reference to a book which may have more information: Vice Admiral C. Paizis-Paradellis, HN (2002). Hellenic Warships 1829-2001 (3rd Edition). Athens, Greece: The Society for the study of Greek History. Do you know who has this or has access to it? Thanks Kevin --Kevin Murray (talk) 19:28, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

  • Thanks! Could you scan and email those pages to me? kevinmurray@sbcglobal.net It woud help me very much to verify my text. Talk to you soon. Kevin --Kevin Murray (talk) 03:57, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
    • Thank you tremendously! You can mail the copies to Kevin Murray, PO Box 4482, Walnut Creek CA 94596 (USA) or FAX to (925) 279-1191 - no cover page needed. Please let me know whether I can ever do anything for you. Kevin --Kevin Murray (talk) 17:39, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi, we've not gotten to the PO box yet this week. It's likely that the envelope has arrived. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again. --Kevin Murray (talk) 14:52, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

      • Yes, I now have these pages. Thank you again for helping me here. --Kevin Murray (talk) 20:27, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

October 2010

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Juze 05:59, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
