2019 Kentucky Derby ~ Country House (horse)

Hey, on your edit of the two pages above. Maximum Security did not cross the finish line first because he was disqualified before he crossed the finish line, so technically Maximum Security did not cross the finish first ~ that is why I wrote it that way ~ it gives the reader an impression that Maximum security won the race but that win was taken away from him ~ it is misleading to say Maximum Security crossed first ~ first is a place in a competition~ I plan to take this issue to the talk page unless you self revert ~~ also nice meeting you Mitchellhobbs (talk) 17:24, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

WNBA Rosters

Something else I was thinking about for the WNBA rosters: Does the current template have a way to put a certain year on a certain page? Currently, say for the 2017 Atlanta Dream season I will just copy and paste the roster template into the page at the end of the season, to keep the 2017 roster on the 2017 page. However, is there a way to put the year in the code to display the template so the 2017 roster will stay on the 2017 page? Let me know if that makes sense.

Thanks! Swimmer33 (Talk) 14:47, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

Hi, Swimmer33. Sorry to say I am the wrong person to ask. I would ask Frietjes, if you like, right near the RFC and see what she says. You might be the WNBA's most experienced editor on Wikipedia. Just looking, that roster is made out of bits:

WNBA roster header current
list of playerW
WNBA roster footer current

By the way, thank you for your efforts. I hadn't realized until recently how much we owe to you! -SusanLesch (talk) 21:56, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
No problem! I was surprised by the lack of content and decided to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Swimmer33 (Talk) 23:16, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
