A study on how to cover scientific uncertainties/controversies edit

Hi. I have emailed you to ask whether you would agree to participate in a short survey on how to cover scientific uncertainties/controversies in articles pertaining to global warming and climate change (survey described here). If interested, please email me Encyclopaedia21 (talk) 21:08, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi I've nominated the sexuality of Baden Powell for deletion.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexuality_of_Robert_Baden-Powell\

I would appreciate your vote for deletion, as I know you think the article is absurd as I do. TotallyTempo (talk) 01:19, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey man edit

Hey I did nominate it, but then someone removed my tags, I'm not exactly a newbie to wikipedia, (like you my history actually goes back to '05) but I still have trouble working wikipedia syntax. If you look under the talk section, I posted directly under you in the "language and content area", and then some people posted underneath me.

I will have to figure out how to properly nominate it for discussion on the AFD page. I tried but for some reason it didn;t work. I will try again, though since I've nominated it for the first time, I've noticed we will be unlikely to win this fight. The article has been nominated 3 times (2006, 2007, 2008) and the results were No consensus, kept and kept. However this will not stop me because I believe it is ludicrous to speculate on one's sexuality when one has no evidence of homosexual behaviour.

Once I get the afd discussion going I will let you know, however in the meanwhile feel free to chip in on the talk page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Sexuality_of_Robert_Baden-Powell#Language_and_content
