Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Tommy Rudkin, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I've removed it for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GiantSnowman 15:47, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks - do you have full book details such as author, date of publication etc.? In which case I will add it as a proper reference to the article. Regards, GiantSnowman 16:11, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Authors are Mick Robinson and Andy Groom, date of publication is 18 Oct 2012 and released by Division 4 publishing. I've also just read that it should only include league games and not cup. This should now read 15 games, 12 goals in the first period (45-46) and 2 games, 0 goals in the second period. All the other appearances came in the 2 part league (1939-40) and FA Cup games. Apologies for not thouroughly checking the criteria! I won't make the same mistake again Superposh (talk) 16:26, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks, although the figures of the first spell don't tally in with this widely-used site? GiantSnowman 16:53, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

The uptheposh site includes all games (including cup). It also has full list of the 2 part league from 1939/40 which is generally not used in stats. Tommy played 8 FA Cup games scoring 6 goals and league record of 15 games, 11 goals making a total of 23 games, 17 goals. Hope that makes sense! 92.25.46.152 (talk) 19:52, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Infobox stats edit

Hello, and thanks for updating Peterborough-related pages. You may not have noticed that the note at the bottom of the infobox says that club stats are supposed to be for domestic league games only. I fixed your update to Keith Bannister to reflect the info at uptheposh.com, and added a link to his page there for verification, but if you've included apps/goals in cup competitions in the infobox stats for any other players, you may want to go back and adjust them. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 16:15, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thanks for that, I thought I had checked everything thoroughly but obviously not! It will also be veified by the official History of Peterborough United (ISBN 9781874427155) which should be listed as a citation very soon Superposh (talk) 16:30, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

No probs, just sorry I never got round to mentioning it at the time I fixed Mr Bannister's page, might have saved you a bit of work. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 17:06, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

August 2013 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Tamer Fernandes, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 16:03, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Sorry, I just had to nip out to the door, I was about to add a reference. I'm always confused as to what Wiki class as a 'reliable' source. The one I was going to use is www.uptheposh.com as this is almost the bible for us Posh fans!. ThanksSuperposh (talk) 16:12, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

No problems - that's the one I would have used as well, and so I have updated the article accordingly. GiantSnowman 17:57, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
