Anchors

edit

Hello. Why are the radio anchors a "no need"? They are notable and they don't violate any guidelines. I don't think you had a problem with them until I came along and made this edit. Also, per WP:ELNO, Facebook and Twitter accounts should not be linked unless the radio station doesn't have a website. In this case, DZBB-AM does have a website. I see you reverted your edit. It would also be helpful if you use the edit summary, so other users know why you are making the edit and don't get in a edit war. Corkythehornetfan | Chat? 17:15, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Are you familiar with the Philippine television and radio industry? I will comply with this rule for now. I will use my additional pages on the userpage if may add the personalities and programs that will add. Thank you and goodbye. - Supergabbyshoe, 03:04, 7 March 2015 (PST)
No I am not, but doesn't mean I have to be either. I'm following Wikipedia guidelines, and if removing the names of anchors who are not notable per WP:LISTPEOPLE, then I will do it. That goes with the times, too, as Wikipedia is not a directory. As long as you and others keep adding them to articles I come across, (Please not I do plan on going over every Philippine TV & Radio article I can find and other countries) I will keep removing them. If in fact they are notable, like the ones in the DZBB article, then they can/should stay. Corkythehornetfan | Chat? 21:44, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 in Philippine sports, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National University. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:2015PSLAFClogo.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:2015PSLAFClogo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 20 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Story on List of programs broadcast by ABS-CBN page

Hi Supergabbyshoe, I'm a UK journalist looking to tell the story of the hard-working people editing the List of programs broadcast by ABS-CBN page more often than the pages for Barack Obama, Hitler and Britney Spears. I know you're a major part of the task, and I'd like to highlight the great work you're doing, and to learn more about what motivates you. Speedy deletion nomination of Malabon local elections, 2016

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Malabon local elections, 2016 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Proposed deletion of DYNU-TV

edit

The article DYNU-TV has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Philippine presidential election, 2016 without explaining why. ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Philippine concerts

edit

Hi, I would first like to thank you for your contributions regarding the addition of concerts in the Philippines in pages like 2015 in Philippine music and 2016 in Philippine music, among others. However, I would also like to kindly ask if you could get into the habit of citing sources (of course, reliable ones as much as possible) for future additions. Thank you! Thanks for your concern. Were very likely to add more sources for this article as days come by. Happy Holidays. - User:Supergabbyshoe (talk2me) 15:43, 17 December 2015 (PST)

Timelines of the Philippines

edit

Hi, thank you for your contributions to the events occurring over the years in Philippine timeline pages like 2016 in the Philippines. However, I would like to ask if you could state future additions of events in present tense, so that to be consistent with other timeline pages in Wikipedia, many of which are stated in the said tense. I ask this favor so that I do not have to keep on editing the page just to restate the sentences into present tense. Also, when citing sources in pages, please write the dates according to the corresponding date format that was given in the page. In the case of 2016 in the Philippines and other related pages, please write them in the MDY format, since the dates are written that way. Thank you. PatTag2659, a hopeful aviator (talk) 14:39, 14 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello there. I will comply to the said measures as you promised especially the tenses thing. Thanks. - Supergabbyshoe (talk2me) 17:51, 14 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

2016 in the Philippines

edit

Until now, you still have not complied to the measures regarding events in timeline pages being written in present tense, as seen in your latest contribution to 2016 in the Philippines. In future additions of events, please write them in present tense as we should get into the habit of being consistent with other timeline pages in Wikipedia, many of which are written in the said tense.
