Re: Image

edit

I don't see what's wrong with the image there already. The image you're trying to add is of very high resolution, which is undesired. Not to mention that that the current image already has all the proper licensing in place. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 01:58, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Very high resolution is undesired. You need to shrink the image. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 02:03, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
it's per Wikipedia:Fair use/Definition of "low resolution". --ThomasO1989 (talk) 02:05, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

The old image has been replaced with one that lacks the edges, as you insist. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 02:17, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm sick of edit-warring with you. If you revert my edits without reason again, I WILL report you. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 02:20, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Recent Edits

edit

I accept your apology, though regarding your recent edits on Kirby's Return to Dream Land, I had a few issues. I know that you have an account on Kirby Wikia, but you must understand that Wikipedia is not as laid back, to so speak, in terms of what should and shouldn't be added.

  • It's never a good idea to write in the second-person, specifically "As you make progress through the game..." Wikipedia is not a game guide. Use "As the player makes progress..." instead, but in either case notes about whether or not you can unlock optional features is not considered appropriate for Wikipedia.
  • I've already created a valid, working reference to the Nintendo Power article, so the reference to Kirby's Rainbow Resort is redundant.
  • The addition you made to the intro is redundant. Read this aloud: "the scattered pieces of a crashed alien spaceship of an alien." Sounds weird, right? A good rule of thumb is that a sentence works if you can read it aloud and it sounds natural.

Hope you hear me well. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 00:43, 9 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Periodic table (large version), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Curium, berkelium and californium are natural (see periodic table). The current arrangement of the lanthanides and actinides has been standardized on Wikipedia. The chemical properties for Mt-Rg and Uut-Uuo are currently unknown. Double sharp (talk) 10:30, 26 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

High-resolution notice

edit

Please stop uploading high resolution photos of non-free images. They are supposed to be as low resolution as possible per Wikipedia policy. Cutecutecuteface2000 (Questions, comments, complaints?) 03:06, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
