Hello. This is a message to let you know that you have made an edit summary, to COVID-19 pandemic in the United States that did not appear to be appropriate, civil or otherwise constructive, and it may have been removed. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Love of Corey (talk) 07:00, 30 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Every sentense except the last is a statement about the facts. The last is my true feeling about that this behaviour of the U.S. towards their European allies. "de facto export ban on vaccines. The E.U. shipped millions of doses to the U.S., Canada, Mexico and received nothing from the U.S.,not even vaccines from AstraZeneca that were unused. With an ally like this who needs foes? I definitely won't defend the U.S. interests against Russia and China, perhaps I will die of Covid but in case that won't happen I will remember this appalling betrayal!" --Sunsarestars (talk) 18:34, 30 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
And here's my edit of tofday. I invite you to right any wrong! --Sunsarestars (talk) 18:56, 30 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

De facto export ban on vaccines
The U.S. exported no vaccines while the European Union exported 77 million doses to the world in the months from December 2020 to March 2021.[1] On March 2021, U.S. President Joe Biden nevertheless dismissed a request by the European Union to export unused vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 from AstraZeneca out of the U.S. even though the manufacturer endorsed it and vowed to resupply the doses. The rationale for this decision – which contributed to low European vaccination rates – was that according to White House press secretary Jen Psaki the U.S. had to be "over-supplied and over-prepared".[2] And Biden further explained, "I said we had to treat this like a war."[3]
The export ban imposed by the U.S. also contributed to the delayed delivery of the vaccines from Johnson&Johnson to Europe. The substance was produced in Europe but the “fill and finish” process was originally planned to be in the U.S. and therefore there was the danger that it would be subject to the Defense Production Act.[4]

Anything less than complete certainty should be an absolute no-go for the death penalty even for the most fervent proponents of this archaic procedure. That isn't inappropriate summary of mine, defending the capital punishment of people without complete certainty of the guilt is. Mere likeliness is not tolerable here and the confidence in "likeliness" leads to reckless homicide. And that capital punishment is per se archaic is the (modern) teaching of the Catholic Church. --Sunsarestars (talk) 19:56, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
