Madurai Airport edit

Please stop continuously reinstating the image to this article. It was removed from the commons for a reason (Copyright Violation). jasepl (talk) 05:29, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Do you mean I don't have rights to inserting images to this article? Can I insert my own image taken by my camera? --Sundar amu (talk) 06:09, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mind your Language edit

FYKI, I maintain several airport articles across the country and I know what is right for an airport article (I do know that better than you). I have been appreciated for my work. Take a look at this. Customs and immigration are something that every international airport has and Madurai is not one of them. The sources even mentioned for several sentences does not have adequate info. One sentence was just inferred into 5 different meaning. If I was jealous about the same, I would not have re-instated the Mumbai, Delhi destination of SG when user Shyam1574 removed it. Abhishek191288 (talk) 05:40, 24 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Plan dropped by SriLankan was not added by me. Anyways, it is good you pointed out about the same, I will remove that. And FYI, in my edit summary I have mentioned the flights as IXM-MAA-DEL and IXM-MAA-BOM, but in what way is it offensive? Several airlines operate direct flights to some destinations but with a stopover. If you feel this would degrade the airport's image, you need to grow up. For your kind info, I am working towards adding more info on a few airport articles: Mysore Airport, Mangalore Airport, Madurai Airport, Calicut Airport, Coimbatore Airport.
When a flight is said to be via it does not imply change of aircraft. That is what I meant in the edit summary. When I said SG does fly to BOM and DEL (since you didn't understand), it means SG is flying to BOM and DEL from IXM. These flights are not non-stop but are direct!! They have a brief stop-over at MAA and then continue to BOM or DEL. Passengers will be sitting in the same plane. If at all passengers have to de-board this plane and get into another one to go to either BOM or DEL, then in such a case we do not mention these as the destinations of the airline in the airport destination column.
