Hey, I am not entirely sure what the issue is here. You stated that I have a "external relationship" with the gallery, which isn't true. Also, you said that there aren't enough references, which I don't really understand. I included a few references, with important information about the gallery. It is also a small introduction to the gallery, so how many references can I even include. Please let me know how I should fix this instead of stating that there "aren't enough references" with no detail as to how I should fix that. 2603:7000:38F0:9CD0:6971:E769:DC93:5EC5 (talk) 17:08, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Let's take one thing at a time.
Firstly, please log into your account, so I know who you are.
Secondly: where did I (assuming you mean me?) state that [you] have a (sic) "external relationship" with the gallery? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:13, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hey sorry about me not logging in --- I think I am in my account now. I'm not sure if it was you who replied this, but I have quoted the response below...
"Hello, SunMoon3346. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:"
I don't know if that is an automated response, and again, I am just not clear as to what the next steps are and would love your help. SunMoon3346 (talk) 17:17, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I posted that query. Just to be clear, I wasn't stating that you have a relationship with the subject; I was asking if you do. There is a difference.
And the reason why I was asking is, your very first edit after creating this user account was to write up a fully-fledged draft on a commercial operation. That usually indicates a connection.
So let me ask you this: how did you choose this topic? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:26, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Very fair! I visited the gallery a few months ago, after visiting a Warhol exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum - they are very close in distance. I hadn't planned on visiting the gallery until an employee at the Brooklyn Museum recommended it. I looked up the Welancora Gallery recently to see if they had anything up that might interest me and realized they didn't have a wikipedia page. That is how this project started.
