Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Laurence de Cambronne, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bipolar. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Patrick Mahé moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Patrick Mahé, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Copyrights

edit

Hi, Sulpyensid. I've marked the article you created, Maks Levin, as reviewed. Thank you for writing it. I've been working a lot on List of journalists killed during the Russo-Ukrainian War, and it's nice to see others who care about this topic.

I did have a concern I wanted to share, though. Some portions of the article were copied from this LensCulture profile. See the bits I removed here and here. Now, the content you copied was mostly lists of names, and it's true that when giving a list of names sometimes there really is no way to avoid copying the same content in the same order, but what you did still cut it closer than is needed. I'm not sure if this rises to the level of copyright violation that we need to remove from the page's history, and will ask an administrator to decide. But either way, even if it doesn't meet that level, it was still too similar to be allowed in the article.

Before you continue editing, I'd appreciate it if you could read through

just to make sure we don't wind up in an awkward situation where you've misunderstood some point of our copyright policies and a bunch of your content has to be removed.

Again, thank you for writing the Levin article. Hopefully he'll be the last addition to the list. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 22:35, 2 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Martin Axelrad

edit

Hello, Sulpyensid,

Thank you for creating Martin Axelrad.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article has insufficient references. What is needed are references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Speedy deletion nomination of Paul-Éric Blanrue

edit

Hello Sulpyensid,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Paul-Éric Blanrue for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Proposed deletion of Martin Axelrad

edit

The article Martin Axelrad has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Can't find enough in-depth coverage to show they meet GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
