ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Quick question regarding The Pirates of Dark Water

edit

Have you been using this website as a source in building the article? Some of the stuff flagged on WP:CopyPatrol again, and I just want to make sure that this website is the original source you're citing from. If so, it's not a big deal (and it's not copyvio), though it would probably be helpful going forward if you would add citations to the article that point to your sourcing regarding the ships. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 20:08, 11 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that is the website. Thanks for the comments. StoneCold (talk) 20:39, 11 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
What exactly is your edit on 20:55, 11 March 2023 of the page doing? Thanks. StoneCold (talk) 22:05, 11 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
The edit is requesting revision deletion of a copyright violation that was inserted in 2011 and then removed in the very next edit. The person who removed the copyright violation forgot to request revision deletion when cleaning up the page, so the copyright violation remains visible by going to the old version of the page. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 22:12, 11 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
