Speedy deletion nomination of Rae Rae McFae

edit

A tag has been placed on Rae Rae McFae requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 02:10, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

November 2010

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Neil Cicierega, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. MarnetteD | Talk 21:27, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Elf (film). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. MarnetteD | Talk 21:27, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Harbor Seal. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to a loss of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. MarnetteD | Talk 21:29, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Virtual nipple

edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Virtual nipple, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

I was indefinitely blocked 6 years ago because of vandalism. I definitely see that what I did when I was 14 was wrong, and I now as a 20 year old student I use wikipedia regularly and am immensely grateful for it. I would hate to encounter such vandalism again, and I'm sorry I did it. If unblocked, my first positive action would be to address the differences between the entires for "girl" and boy". The latter entry refers to transgender and intersex people and the former does not. I have tweeted at the wikipedia page to address this, but it would be really convenient to be unblocked and forgiven for my discretions of 6 years ago so that I can begin contributing to the community in a mature and helpful manner. Accept reason:

I've unblocked your account per WP:ROPE. PhilKnight (talk) 02:01, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
