Your .tr site

edit

Please do not add this site to any more pages. It is too promotional, and not encyclopedaic enough. Wizzy 09:40, August 9, 2005 (UTC)

Your edits to article bodies have by and large been great. But the .tr site, added as external links, has frames asking me to buy new domains, ads in the main panel, and a lot of stuff to wade through. Wikipedia itself carries no ads, and has high standards on what can be linked to. For instance, I monitor a lot of South African articles, and take out anything that is not a government link or a solid, useful, non-partisan tourism links. And it seemed like you were adding the same site to a lot of different articles, all ship-related. If you had linked the propellor section to the propellor article, it might have been different, but if that article had been full of ads I would have taken it out as well. We like solid, meaty content (like your article edits) and not fluff. Wizzy 06:35, August 10, 2005 (UTC)

Sources for Covini C6W

edit

Hello, good work on Covini C6W, and thanks for the contribution. However, you did not provide any references or sources in the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. Can you list in the article any websites, books, or other sources that will allow people to verify the content in Covini C6W? You can simply add links, preferably as the inline citations, or see citation templates for different citation methods. Thanks! Lupin|talk|popups 18:48, 11 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

English

edit

However all of us appreciate you adding information to articles, I think you should refrain from adding rather large parts since quite honestly, your grasp of the English language isn't all that good. Maybe you should try to Simple English wikipedia. Jezpuh 13:35, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
