Mediation

edit

Greetings. As you might know or not, the Mediation Cabal was asked to help in resolution of issues with the page Derek Acorah. The mediation will be held at the case page, Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-10-04 Derek Acorah. I've taken the case as the mediator. Please visit the page and check the information presented. Is everything correct? Is something important omitted? Is there something to add? What is your position? Please add comments on the case page, to bring the summary of all information and opinions in one place. If you have compromise ideas, it would also be nice to post them on the page. Please take your part in the resolution of the issue. CP/M comm |Wikipedia Neutrality Project| 16:27, 13 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Medium (spirituality)

edit

Perfect addition, Steve! Exactly my thoughts on the subject. A medium is a medium, if a person doesn't have the abilities described, then they aren't a medium. There are people who claim to be mediums, those can be referred to as "claimed" or "claim to be" or "believed to be" - such as John Edward, but a medium is a person who has those powers; claims don't enter into it. Whether or not there are actually mediums is taken care of in the second paragraph. Dreadlocke 19:47, 7 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Regarding your comment here, I don't see that in the actual ruling: Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/Paranormal#Adequate_framing. Can you point out what you mean? Dreadstar 20:45, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
