Vanossgaming

This article was deleted and recreated after it was seen as not giving information about the person himself while it was marked to do so. I left a note on it saying so and as well saying that the infobox claiming it is about a person can be edited or, if needed, it can be removed. Please revise the deletion. I understand that an encyclopedia can't contain anything or anyone that is said to be important, but the article notes that the person is listed in the top 20 of popular channels on YouTube, and I see channels that are not even listed in the top 1000 and are still on this Wikipedia, does the person have to win an award first, or write songs, or play in movies? I think that a person that is known, liked and followed among at least 8 million people could be listed on a Wikipedia. I would like to hear how someone like him, Evan Vanoss, can be on a Wikipedia, since this is my first article and I could be prevented from making more of these articles of people that I think could have an article. One last question; On the Wikipedia:Notability (people) page under the semi-section Entertainers is stated 'Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following' would make the article allowed on this website. True. I have searched for an article written by a third party about Evan Vanoss on the internet but I couldn't seem to find one. And I am not sure if licensed websites owned by third parties, showing the amount of subscribers he, and other youtubers, have, like the site named Vidstatsx, also count as a reference? I understand where you are coming from here. Articles such as Cory Williams is appropriate due to the published sources online. You would be better off including basic information in List of YouTube personalities and expand into its own article if published articles on the web become available. Hi Steve Lux, Jr., Regarding your note on my page, the new Yale–NUS College page is a redirect that points to Yale-NUS College. I set the redirect because I found a few articles that used the en-dash (–) over the hyphen (-) and were being redlinked as a result. I've checked the official spelling and grammar conventions to confirm that this is the correct direction for the redirect. Is there a policy against this kind of typographic redirection? Using PROD

Hi Steve. I have objected to your proposed deletion of Faculty of Economics-Prilep. Contrary to what you stated on the article, anyone, including the article's author, is allowed to remove a PROD tag and as Wikipedia policy explains, once the proposed deletion is objected to, no one may renominate it for deletion through PROD. This is different from speedy deletions (only the article's author may not remove CSD tags) and AfD (nobody may remove tag while discussion is in progress). If you still believe the article should be deleted, feel free to nominate it at Articles for Deletion and remember to notify the original author. The IP is a long-banned / sock user who likes to add one often irrelevant change after another. Most recently Special:Contributions/108.73.113.2. See the IP's edit history; the linked word is usually enclosed in parens. See User:Arthur Rubin/IP list. Per wp:deny, the IP's edits are rolled back. No problem with someone else adding the change (or undoing my revert). Gotten a lot of undos this batch. Need to write a template! Recent citation entries for Library page

Steve, I hope I'm doing this correctly. You left me a message that my recent edit seemed to be a test and it was removed. Actually, no. I did an edit which was accepted, moving two libraries from the Reference Library to Research Library and adding a third Research Library that had been omitted. Then there was a message saying "Citation needed". So I did a couple of edits that were incorrect and that might have been what you saw. But the last thing I did was put <ref ref> with the citation after each of the libraries I moved and the one I added. They were all URL's. I'm not sure why this was incorrect or looked like a test. I wasn't sure how to enter the citations and the only info I could get from the help pages said to do this, put the citation between two ref markups. West Hopkinton

I took a look at your article under construction - looks like it's off to a good start. When I think of West Hopkinton, the mills in the village come to mind, so if you're able to find any historic details about specific companies used to operate there (do any still?), that would be a crucial part of the article. You could also mention the Hopkinton-Everett Reservoir dam. Kansas City, Kansas hatnote

The hatnotes on Kansas City-related pages were developed after discussion on how to best address the confusion between Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. It is a necessary (and minimum) explanation to clarify "central city" due to the historic confusion between the two and the idiosyncrasies of the name. I'm fine with the KCK disambig being removed as unnecessary, though, I can't find anywhere on WP:HAT that says hatnotes must direct to pages with "extremely similar names." Clarification on NH page edits

Hi Steve, I noticed that you reverted the changes I made to the New Hampshire wiki. These changes related specifically to particular language used to describe European colonization of New Hampshire's First Nations. I was wondering if you could please provide information on why my updates did not meet the criteria to be accepted. I provided ample citations directly to the changes that I made. Of course WP is noted for its academic and formal style! ha ha ha. It would be good if in the kind of article we get involved in the style of language even reached an everyday journalistic style. I will let this case slip because it relates to a (highly non-academically written) North American subject but I do find this Harvard comma strongly American in flavour like the American uses of Z (zee?) also recommended nearly a century ago by the same "Oxford" people. 2019 US Banknote Contest

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. Interested in your thoughts about bridge #55 (I have evidence of an earlier 55)

Hi Steve- You seem to be pretty active in the NH Covered Bridges page, so I'd like your opinion please. I found, and posted to that page, a map of New Hampshire covered bridges that my grandfather shot in 1967. One bridge that stuck out to me was #55. Notice it's on that map, in the Merrimack NH region.

Yet, there is content on the page about "Chester Covered Bridge is the newest official bridge, #55". I have two slides of a bridge, shot(actually processed) in 1966, labelled "55 Turkey Hill Bridge", Merrimack NH. I'm pretty sure my grandfather was using that map to shoot as many bridges as he could. He was very careful with slide labelling. Hi, Parnhamphoto, I believe you are referring to "Turkey Hill Bridge" in Merrimack. This bridge no longer exists. You can find more details here- http://lostbridges.org/details.aspx?id=NH/29-06-05x&loc=n. You could certainly add it to the short list on the article under lost bridges.
