The policy of constant deletion of detailed drafts makes no sense as storage of text is almost no burden given the capacity of modern servers. I put a lot of work into researching and composing that entry about someone with whom I have no connection whatsoever and who has written an iconic poem, highly regarded etc etc. But c'est la vie. I wrote an article about a US country songwriter who wrote a hit song and that is preserved for eternity (which is a good thing by the way). But a guy who has published lots of books and written popular poetry, translations, had an interesting life etc but is not a one-hit US country songwriter, forget it. Only one opinion.
