Request reason:

I undertand that I could have a COI. However, I am not promoting a single event. I have no lsited links to any of our events. I have simply created a page that is about my company with information about the events we have run. Each of those events were cited by highly reputable newspaper articles that go into even further detail. I remain very vague in my writing and do not appreciate being blocked when I have done nothing wrong. Stefanie.funfest (talk) 21:36, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for message. Events have obviously moved on since then, but just to put some meat on the bones of why your articles were deleted.

• you needed to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Most of your text was unreferenced. You also gave no facts about the company or its events to show notability. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, turnover or profits, not just telling us what you sell
• you wrote in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. As above, the text was just promoting what you do, not writing an encyclopaedia article.
• Some versions of your articles were copyright violations. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial but there is no indication that the copied site allows free use. Text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
• You have a conflict of interest when editing this article. Since you work for the organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Stefanie.funfest.
