Because I've noticed you've just joined, I wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. Yessss! You made an account! Totally sweet! Anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people. Besides that, you shouldn't feel nervous or anything about a good-willed contribution. If you're concerned, talk to us. Play in your user area. For example, create User:StarryMan/test. If you feel nervous, feel free to talk to us. When you're ready, start your first article using the Article Wizard. You don't HAVE to use it, but for your first article it really helps. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references. If you'd like more guidance, you guessed it, talk to us. Speedy deletion nomination of Astronomical Society of New South Wales

A tag has been placed on Astronomical Society of New South Wales, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Astronomical Society of New South Wales

I think it's a good start but it needs sources please. I doubt it will be deleted but we need more references please. I tried to find some but had difficulty, but as you are someone familiar with the society, I expect you will be able to find references much easier than myself. -- Samir 23:55, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
