License tagging for Image:160px-Altsankov.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:160px-Altsankov.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:06, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:GenLukov.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:GenLukov.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 11:57, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Non-free use disputed for Image:ALcankov.jpg

edit
  This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:ALcankov.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Aberdeen's Twin Cities

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Aberdeen, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you.

Aberdeen only has 5 twin cities. Gabrovo is not one of them. See http://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/acci/web/includes/template/ShowFAQ.asp?qid=8962 for the correct list of cities twinned with Aberdeen. Tartan Nutter (talk) 12:17, 2 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for correcting me Tartan Nutter. Yes, Gabrovo is not twinned with Aberdeen. I already know that. But I s twinned with those towns

PANEVEZYS, LITHUANIA
 NOVY SACZ, POLAND
THUN, SWITZERLAND
 MOGILEV, BELORUSSIA
 MITISHY, RUSSIA
 MITTWEIDA, GERMANY
 SISAK, CROATIA
 PRESHOV, SLOVAKIA

My information comes from the web site of the municipailty of Gabrovo. You can check it on http://www.en.gabrovo.bg/Files.php?type=16

Regards. Stahlgewitter

My apologies. I did not wish to condescend. It's just that Aberdeen's twin towns section has had the wrong towns added on numerous occasions and I was trying to stop this from happening again. Tartan Nutter (talk) 17:26, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Geshev.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Spiritia 19:58, 16 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Georgi MInchev (musician)

edit

The article Georgi MInchev (musician) has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Proposed deletion of File:Ratnikbg.jpg

edit

The file File:Ratnikbg.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 23 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
