Israelisms

edit

I just an over editor that edits far too much. Usually there should be just one link to the actual site and then the reader can look for themselves. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 18:36, 6 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The best thing, and usual practice, is to link to a Wikipeida articles (if they exist) rather than an offsite link. Like I just did with Trypod Network and Jawbone Radio. I also added some categories as that helps others to find things. I see the article has got much bigger quickly. Hope you are having fun. Cheers. Israelims Podcast

edit

Right now there is nothing you can do. The deletion process will have to run its course. It's to be hoped that you don't get anymore of the brand new users who have no edits other than to the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Israelisms like Mfogarty. The person closing the AfD will not look favourably on that. I'm not sure if Dsreyn is an admin or not but anybody can nominate an article for deletion. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 16:56, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

For what it's worth, I'm not an administrator. Counting one anon, there are now three single purpose accounts that have "voted". Hopefully whoever is behind that will get the message and knock it off. Dsreyn 17:36, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Charley carol.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Charley carol.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
