Dear Ssriam! Thanks to you for the wonderful effort and coordination of the Tag and assess drive :) I happened to speak to user AshLin about this as well and am really keen to write a blog post on this drive. Well, stub expansion is a much more difficult job than mere tagging. Thre are so many, for example, geography articles which are barely one or two sentences. re-assessment

hey i would like you to re-assess these articles:-

• Karnan 1964 -already in B - if you want, nominate for WP:GA
• Pudhiya Paravai -reassessed
• Bhalea Pandiya -reassessed
• Kalyana Parisu -remake part and some of the other changes are not fully referenced, so no change in state/
• Uthama Puthiran 1958 -not many changes from last time.
• Iru Malargal - assessed
• Parasakthi -controversies added from last assessment - can lead be expanded. Also this movie has lot of firsts that can be highlighted(though they are briefly touched upon).
• Sivandha Mann -reassessed. Wasn't it a blockbluster and trend setter of the time. Can you pls check?
• Thiruvilayadal - reassessed
• Desa Munnetram -considering the relatively sparse sources of reference, promoted it
• Billa (1980 film) -reassessed
• Unnaipol Oruvan -needs trimming of plot and expansion of lead. Since it is a remake, the mapping with Hindi version would be good.
• Manmadhan Ambu -reassessed. Is the dialogue by Crazy Mohan.. think it is Kamal himself.
• Sangam (film) -reassessed. Check some stats - guess 947 crore collection seems wrong.

Sorry if I'm disturbing you with these. Take ur own time...

• Velayudham - looks nothing like a start class article - reassessed. It had controversies with distributors, can it be added?
• 7aum Arivu - on par with Sivaji ganesan's Karnan. Infact, better I think. - I assessed it earlier as C because the boxoffice, controversies part are not correct IMO. It made 150+ cr and declared hit along with Velayudam is what i read in vernacular journals. Only thing of concern was it had a heavy investment compared to vyudam. Work on this and ping me back, will reassess.
• Agent Vinod 2012 - defenietly not a start class article. reassessed.
• Irrfan Khan - pls decide what it is. reassessed.
• Shahrukh Khan - I feel it is one of the best Bollywood articles. Why if Karnan (B class) is almost eligible for GA, why not SRK? - good point, also considering it is one of the most article, subject it to WP:GA review.
• Amitabh Bachchan - Apart from the lead, everything else in the article can help it be reassessed. - same as above.
• Gemini Ganesan - It is I who brought the article from start/stub class to what it is today. - no change in status.
• Surya (actor) - I think he can do for B class - already B.
• Sarvam - Surprisingly failed a GA nomination in 2010. Think it can do now. - yes push for nomination.
• Santosh Subramaniam - also eligible for GA I think. - box office and remake comparison with original? Not sure, but Genilia got some award for this or for the original, pls check.
• Keechaka Vadham - First South Indian feature film. slightly elevated by me.
• Kalidas (film) - first tamil sound film
• Silambarasan - alias Simbu
• Ekk Deewana Tha
• Raja Harishchandra - first indian film ever
• Alam Ara - first indian sound film
• Wanted (2009 film)
• British cinema - It can't be start class!

63 Nayanmars

Y have u removed Shaivism category from this article? Then Wiki pages for all the 63 nayanmars is to be encouraged. We have lot of sources for them including their literary work, background, profession etc. Think of it, Future awaits! :-) Semi-protection request for TN failed. Many inexperienced users, IPs and region-oriented vandals are flooding at the page. We have to review and nominate it for GA assessment. I havent removed the nayanar saints cat that goes on to shaivite religious figures. I have widely expanded on saiva kuravars, tevaram and the likes - will surely push Appar, Sundarar and Campantar to GA. Thanks for the wishes. Regarding the picture that resembles like an advt.

Hi Sriram, I came across an article which contains a header pic that resembles more like an advt.
