editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:32, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- YEs, someone answered! Hi radish, it's because someone named yamla made a comment saying "I need to go shower", which could be a violation of WP:FORUM "Wikipedia is not a place to publish your own thoughts" Ssendo (talk) 00:35, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- "deleting or editing legitimate comments" Yeah well that's the thing: showering isn't a legitimate comment. Ssendo (talk) 00:40, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:48, 14 May 2024 (UTC)Why?
edit@User:ScottishFinnishRadish Why did you unblock me? I don't know what I did wrong, all I did was say that wikipedia shouldn't be about sharing own thoughts. Are you assuming good faith? Ssendo (talk) 00:51, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- I also kind of think your block is too harsh, WP:INDEF says "Indefinite blocks are usually applied when there is significant disruption or threats of disruption, or major breaches of policy." Ssendo (talk) 01:00, 14 May 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
Hello, guys. I want to say that what I did was wrong, I shouldn't have deleted Yamla's commentary about taking a shower at the administrator's noticeboard. Apparently, such comments are indeed allowed, and my deletion of it was bad; I won't do it (and any other action like that) again. I hope to edit constructively in other articles, and hope to no longer give the impression of trolling, because that's what happened with Floquenbeam. Thanks, now I need to go shower. Ssendo (talk) 01:09, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You're doing a very good job of suggesting that you're only here to troll, and edit-warring to accomplish it. Acroterion (talk) 01:58, 14 May 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
Hello, I would like to point out what led to my block with full context (please note the entire request may need to be read for minimal misunderstanding). I began with closing a requested merge of North Asia into Siberia, which @a user later undid (calling me a troll). During that I was like "ok, well since I need help, I'm gonna ask admins for it", so I went to the noticeboard. As I was reading some discussions, I found a comment made by @Yamla; it says "Done. Now I need to go shower.", which I though violated WP:FORUM "Wikipedia is not a place to publish your own thoughts" and WP:TALK#USE "Talk pages are for discussing the article, not for general conversation about the article's subject (much less other subjects). Comments that are plainly irrelevant are subject to archiving or removal.", so I deleted that section (not the "Done" part, because that actually was important). But then, @ScottishFinnishRadish told me that what I did was bad. I asked for further input, but Radish didn't clarify, and @an involved user told me to "Go troll elsewhere." At this point I was kind of disappointed: I'm not receiving any input, and people are making edit summaries calling me a troll. After this I got blocked by Radish, and I was thinking "The second the block is over, I'm gonna fully clarify my intentions and ask for input". But it turns out the block is intended to last forever, so I decided "welp, time to fess up what little I understand of the situation so far", so I made a first unblock request (above). I thought to myself "Yes, an admin will provide more input! I explained why I was blocked (albeit the block seemed a bit harsh for lasting forever), and I explained I won't do it again and instead edit constructively. Someone's finally gonna give me some pointers!" But alas, @the reviewing admin has misunderstood my intentions, thinks what I did was trolling, and has falsely accused me of edit warring. All of this has led to here, with me creating another unblock request with involved editors pinged for further assistance. Please understand my situation, and I can assure everyone that I had no trolling intentions; I will no longer remove comments (even ones about showering) made by people. Thanks. This website is focused on developing an encyclopedia and returned users who close discussions and edit comments at ANI are not needed. Johnuniq (talk) 01:19, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
Okay, I'm starting to understand why I was blocked; I can see where the editors came from with the disagreements. I was likely blocked because of my low amount of contributions; I mean some new editor going almost straight to ANI to edit comments would definitely raise some questions about genuine edit intentions. I truly was going to contribute to Wikipedia after the ANI conflict was resolved; the contributions would have been (and will be if I am unblocked): addition of verifiable sources, copyediting, vandalism removal, talk page and consensus participation, etc. I really hope that people don't see me as just a "troll" or a person who only edits ANI for fun, but as a good-faith editor seeking resolution whenever possible. Thanks. Ssendo (talk) 02:20, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Even taking the most charitable viewpoint on this matter, that you lack the skills and knowledge needed to participate here(maybe a language barrier of some kind), there is no reason here to remove the block. I'm not sure if that's the case or if you are trolling as the others think, but I don't need to figure it out. I am declining your request. I also think that further unblock requests are a waste of time so I am removing talk page access. 331dot (talk) 09:01, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
