Miro Cerar was elected on 25 August 2014 but took office together with ministers on 18 September 2014.
Alenka Bratušek was elected on 27 February 2013, but took office on 20 March 2013, when government was confirmed.

He is Prime Minister-Designate (mandatar), which means he has to form government now. Until then, current government is still in office, incuding Prime Minister Cerar. Šarec cannot be Prime Minister without cabinet (ministers). He has no power at the moment, only mandate to form government.

It's the same situation as with U.S. President-Elect, he is President, but has not power until he takes office on 20 January, until then seating President has all power.

No, the source i stated is for government as a whole. According to article 110 of Constitution ("Vlado sestavljajo predsednik in ministri. Vlada in posamezni ministri so v okviru svojih pristojnosti samostojni in odgovorni državnemu zboru."), government consists of Prime Minister and ministers, they all take office at the same time - when government is confirmed in the National Assembly. Once again, Marjan Šarec is Prime Minister-Designate, so he has to form government now, if he fails he will not take office at all. So country cannot be without government (logic). Cerar and his 12th Government remain in office, until new, 13th Government (Šarec Cabinet) is elected - meaning that at least two thirds of ministers is elected.

And no, sources are not wrong, he was elected Prime Minister, but won't take office until he forms the 13th government.

No, they don't, you have to understand the difference between Prime Minister and Prime Minister-Designate. One officially becomes Prime Minister, when he gets his government elected, until then old government has all powers.

Claiming someone has been nominated as a Commissioner needs a reliable source to confirm it. Just because they serve on the current Commission does not mean they will serve on the next. And you should be aware that other Wikipedia articles are not a viable source for making such changes. Feel free to reinstate those names you can provide a reliable source for that confirms that they indeed have been chosen to serve on the next Commission. But if you continue to revert without discussion or fixing the problems that lead to the removal, you will sooner or later have to face sanctions for edit-warring.

Return the text and delete what you think is coppied, cause not everything was, and some things, such as names for legislative proposal, can only be coppied, you cant just make something up, and a lot of stuff in there was legislative proposals names. Sredina

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Von der Leyen Commission; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

Politics of Slovenia

Hi.

I didn't say memberships are not notable, but that we couldn't have them where they were—in fact I left them in the section "Foreign relations". Putting international organizations there means that, for every country in the world, we would have to put at the beginning of the template, even before the Laws of the country, all the names of boards and associations the country is part of, such as "Organization of American States", "Mercosur", "Commonwealth of Independent States", "ASEAN", "United Nations", "African Union", "Entente Cordiale", "Axis of Resistance", "Arab League", "Warsaw Pact", "Union of South American Nations", "BRICS", "PROSUR", "Group of 8", "of 7", "of 20", "of 4", and so on. You too understand that it would look more as an endless shopping list then a succinct overview of the country politics.

You say some memberships are relevant, but where to draw the line between relevance (leading to a portrayal at the top) and marginality (leading to a concealment from eyesight)? To me the EU is really not relevant at all, we would surely be better off without it—let's leave it in the last section of foreign relations.

P.S: I was not talking about the relationship between the powers of government (e.g. executive, etc.), but about the sources of law, which everybody who wants to, knowns the basis of (and they are two very different things). --Foghe (talk) 10:14, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
