Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Kathiababa Charitable Trust edit

Hello Srabanta Deb,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kathiababa Charitable Trust for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Proposed deletion of Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir edit

The article Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability. Zero sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I hope that you agree that Hamsa God describes the same topic as Hamsa (bird). Hamsa God is a Hindu deity. He is one of the main deities of Hinduism. This article is very important for people of Hindu religion. Hamsa God and Hamsa bird are not one. Two different registrations. Hamsa God is the title in Bengali Wikipedia (হংস ভগবান). Therefore, in terms of consideration, the registration of Hamsa God is very important and the registration of God of all people. Another community in Hinduism is the Nimbark Sampradaya. This Hamsa God created the Nimbark Sampradaya. So I kindly request you not to delete the Hamsa God article from Wikipedia. About Draft:Dhananjay Das Kathiababa edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Dhananjay Das Kathiababa a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Dhananjay Das Kathiababa. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. An article you recently created, Dayananda Deb, is not suitable as written to remain published. Your contributed article, Dr. Swami Shivananda edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Dr. Swami Shivananda. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Sivananda (yoga teacher). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Sivananda (yoga teacher). If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Fram (talk) 09:12, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Santadasji Kathiababa edit

The article Santadasji Kathiababa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a notable figure. Concerning unsourced image.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Hello, I'm Toddy1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Swami Santa Dasji Kathiababa, but you didn't provide a reliable source. You have tried adding "citations" to other language's Wikipedia articles several times. This is not OK.

Anyone can add content to Wikipedia articles. This makes them unreliable as a source for other Wikipedia articles. For example, I could edit Bengali Wikipedia to say that Rishi Sunak's faeces are made of solid gold (they are not – he is not a god). I could then edit English Wikipedia to say that people mine gold from London's sewage works, to obtain the gold that Rishi Sunak flushes down the toilet, and cite Bengali Wikipedia as a source for this nonsense.

Your edit has been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can discuss it on the article talk page. Thank you. -- Toddy1 (talk) 11:18, 2 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I looked at the 30 Aug 2021 version of this article and saw that it contains more information on the temple than the present version. You also created the Bengali version of the article bn:গোপীনাথ জিউ মন্দির, ফান্দাউক, which is why the Bengali version reads like a translation of the 30 Aug 2021 English-language version.Google translate The information in the article must have come from somewhere. Do you remember where you got the information from? A book? Personal knowledge? A chat page?
Is it possible for you to provide citations to sources for the much richer information in 30 Aug 2021 version of the article?
There is another similar article at Kali Mata Mandir, Morakari, with the same problems, but no useful citations.
If you do not fix these problems, then your efforts will have been wasted.-- Toddy1 (talk) 23:05, 20 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove an Articles for deletion notice or a comment from an AfD discussion, as you did at Gopalji Radhabihari Ashram (Santdham). -- Toddy1 (talk) 13:49, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Why are you repeatedly trying to delete this registration even though there are enough references in these registrations. Srabanta Deb (talk) 13:51, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
If you think it should be kept, you should explain why it should be kept at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gopalji Radhabihari Ashram (Santdham).
  • You are allowed to improve the article during the deletion discussion, which is what you have been doing.
  • You are not allowed to delete the Articles for deletion notice from the article. This is needed so that other users can comment at the deletion discussion.

Please stop recreating deleted articles edit

Please stop recreating deleted articles. In the past few hours you have:

The main reason your articles get deleted is that you do not base them on what reliable sources say. Instead you either write what you believe or use translation software on an article in another language and post it as your own work in English-language Wikipedia. You then decorate the article with citations, without caring whether they support the text they are cited for, and without caring whether they are reliable sources.

You have been doing this since 2020, but you do not seem to have learned from your experiences.-- Toddy1 (talk) 08:02, 24 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article.
