Hello, I'm IronGargoyle. An edit you recently made to Whale shark seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. IronGargoyle (talk) 18:26, 13 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Squid404. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Jason Quinn (talk) 18:25, 14 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Capitalization of animal names

edit

Hi, Squid404. I see you've an interest in shark articles and you've made a few edits to capitalize the names of sharks throughout the article. Those edits were reverted because they did not follow our conventions given at the MOS:LIFE section of our manual of style. Above I posted some links in a welcome message that can help make your initial editing attempts go smoother. If you have any questions, Wikipedia:Teahouse is a great place to ask beginner questions, or you can ask me. Cheers, Jason Quinn (talk) 18:34, 14 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
