Backslashes

You are adding backslashes before all quotation marks in the articles you are editing. This may lead to your edits being reverted. --Ezeu 01:49, 1 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Do you think this is a browser problem? Spring3100 03:39, 2 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
I think it is browser related. I have recently seen other editors with the same problem. --Ezeu 16:26, 2 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

User:Chifumbe

edit

there is nothing wrong with signing with an alias; the link still points appropriately to the user page. Remember WP:AGF. bikeable (talk) 04:06, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

also, you can use {{unsigned|USERNAME}} to tag an unsigned comment. bikeable (talk) 04:07, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Since this is not a case of simple vandalism I have removed your report of Chifumbe from AIV. I suggest you take it to WP:ANI. JoshuaZ 04:10, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet?

edit

hi. I think that User:Giuliani Time is your sockpuppet, based on the edit summary of this edit and the timestamp of this one. If so, it was particularly egregious of you to jump on Chifumbe for "impersonation" in this AfD, since you had voted under both names.

I am honestly not sure how to proceed, so I offer this possibility in as much good faith as I can muster: strike out the duplicate vote, and put a note on User:Giuliani Time indicating the relationship, keeping it aboveboard as required by WP:SOCK. Otherwise, I will file a WP:RFCU, and we shall find out, and then we'll label Giuliani as a sockpuppet anyway. That seems fair enough to me. bikeable (talk) 05:18, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Does that mean that you and your "neighbor" will continue to vote together in AfDs, making edits minutes apart? bikeable (talk) 05:29, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, the RFCU has confirmed that you are indeed a sockpuppet. -No more bongos 19:05, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

As you've already been warned, please do not make personal attacks, this edit was coming pretty close. In any case, you were commenting on the user rather than the matter at hand. I suggest also that you not discuss your specific Wikipedia edits with User:Giuliani Time, as meatpuppets, if meat they be, are frowned on just as much as sockpuppets. Thanks, Mak (talk) 06:11, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've given you a 48 hout block for disruption, sockpuppetry attempted votestacking WP:NPA WP:CIVIL and possibly other policies that would be applicable if I thought about it more. Your "neighbor" has the exact same style of writing as you and according to checkuser was using the same computer. Given this and the general attempted puppetry in the recent AfD you have exceeded WP:AGF. If your "neighbor" is an actual other person then I apologize for the inconvenience to him and suggest he make a new account and avoid editing areas where your concerns overlap.
