April 2017 edit

  • I see that this is one of a number of new accounts which are all acting together, and are all using user pages and user talk pages to post the same, or very similar, text about social media, and with nothing whatever to do with editing the encyclopaedia. This is not what user pages and talk pages are for: Wikipedia is not a free web host for storing pages for use unrelated to work for the encyclopaedia.
  • Is this a class project or something of the kind? If it is, it has been set up by a teacher with little or no knowledge of how Wikipedia works, and it is doing things which are against Wikipedia policy. If it is a project set by a teacher, can you please ask that teacher to go to "Wikipedia:Education noticeboard/Incidents/Archive 6#Possible Class project?" and explain there what is going on?
  • You are welcome to start contributing to the encyclopaedia if you would like to, but if the present editing pattern continues then it is likely that a Wikipedia administrator will block all the accounts involved, as it seems that you are not here to contribute to the encyclopaedia.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Sportguru46, you are invited to the Teahouse! edit

Hi Sportguru46! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from experienced editors like Osarius (talk).

We hope to see you there!
