Your submission at Articles for creation: Edward S. Webster (August 13) edit

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Sirdog was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Being the only causality of a battle, while an interesting factoid, does not rise to the requirements for an article. Fully separate articles must have multiple independent and reliable sources which provide significant coverage of the subject, in this case, Edward Webster specifically. The 2 sources provided do not meet these criteria, I cannot find any qualifying sourcing myself, and given how long ago the event was, I am certain necessary sourcing will not turn up. I apologize, and it is my hope this does not discourage you, but I am all but certain that should this article be accepted it will be nominated for deletion with overwhelming support.

For advice on moving forward, see Help:Your first article, Help:Getting started, and Wikipedia:Notability.

Sail Forth moved to draftspace edit

Thanks for your contributions to Sail Forth. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ludamane (talk) 06:47, 2 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
